"short_description": "The BOROUX shower filter reduces exposure to chemicals, which helps to relieve dryness and irritation. Experience softer hair and softer skin!",
"description": "A better shower starts with better water. The BOROUX shower filter reduces exposure to any chemicals, which helps to relieve dryness and irritation, while supporting your skin's natural moisture balance and your hair's natural shine.\n\n#### The BOROUX shower filter\n\nTake a shower with this shower filter and experience it for yourself. The water you shower with can contain just as many contaminants as unfiltered drinking water. Chemicals in your shower water can cause dry hair and dry skin. Small upgrades can really improve your quality of life. Experience the remarkable difference this high-quality shower filter can make in your daily life. Enjoy softer hair and softer skin with every shower, designed for daily use.\n\nInside, a mixture of a high-quality copper-zinc alloy and calcium sulphite works to neutralise chemicals before they reach your skin and hair. The result is cleaner, softer water that feels noticeably softer from the very first shower.\n\nNo complicated installation required. This filter fits the standard 1/2″ shower connection (inlet) and of course also works with many shower hoses and shower heads (outlet). This shower filter can optionally be combined with the [universal shower head](https://www.alternatievemiddelen.nl/producten/universele-douchekop/).\n\nThe BOROUX shower filter can be installed within minutes using the sealing tape supplied. Simply attach it, tighten it and enjoy cleaner water straight away.\n\nThe shower filter must be replaced every 3 to 6 months.\n\n#### Key features of this shower filter:\n\n- Beautifully shaped finish\n\n- High-quality filter material: uses a very pure copper-zinc alloy and calcium sulphite to effectively reduce chemicals and give the water a more pleasant feel\n\n- Reduces chemicals that strip the natural oils from the skin, so that skin and hair feel softer\n\n- Dimensions approx.: 6.5 cm (diameter) by 11.5 cm (height)\n\n- Easy to install without tools (the product also comes with a generous piece of sealing tape, if needed)\n\n- Filter life: 3 to 6 months (the life and performance of the filter vary depending on conditions in the household)\n\n- Made of food-safe plastic\n\n- Suitable for the standard 1/2″ shower connection\n\n- Can optionally be combined with the [universal shower head](https://www.alternatievemiddelen.nl/producten/universele-douchekop/)\n\n#### Installation instructions:\n\n1. Clean the connection of the tap or shower arm and hose or shower head (i.e. where you want to connect the shower filter)\n\n2. Apply 3 layers of sealing tape to the connection and to the lower connection of the shower filter (clockwise)\n\n3. Attach the shower filter to the tap or shower arm and hose or shower head and screw it on clockwise (PLEASE NOTE!! Do NOT overtighten)\n\n4. Turn on the tap at the desired temperature\n\n5. Let the water run for a few minutes without standing under it yourself\n\n6. You are done and can enjoy the BOROUX shower filter\n\n**Note:**\n\n– If there is leakage at the connections, try tightening the shower filter a little more. If this does not help, unscrew the shower filter and check or replace the sealing tape.\n\nFor all information about BOROUX products we refer you to our [library](https://www.alternatievemiddelen.nl/de-bieb/), where you will find manuals and answers to frequently asked questions, among other things.",
