A Berkey or BOROUX water filter that works well begins with priming the filter element. Anyone who has ever tried that by hand knows how tricky it can be: sometimes it works, sometimes the water sprays everywhere.
With the BOROUX automatic filter priming pump that is a thing of the past. Screw your filter element into the pump, place it on your water filter, press the button and within a minute and a half the element is ready for use. One charge lasts the pump about ten times.
