Information about the Pure Filters Voyager Water Filter 6L

You can install this water filter easily, without electricity or a water connection. Water is added to the upper container of the water filter and flows downwards through the microscopic pores of the Coldstream FTO PLUS filter element, which prevent contaminants and other pollutants from passing through. This leaves only clean, drinkable water in the lower container. Want to check how much water is left in the tank? Simply lift the upper container to look into the lower container, or choose the stainless steel sight glass tap from Pure Filters as an extra accessory.

Ideal for filtering large quantities of water without having to modify the water supply in your kitchen, for example. Countertop gravity filters stand independently on a worktop for easy access to drinking water. They use the pressure of gravity together with the filter to remove contaminants from the water, without relying on plumbing or electricity. When the upper container is full, water pressure and gravity cause the water to flow through the filters into the lower container.

The Pure Filters Voyager Water Filter 6L is made of 304 stainless steel for long-lasting durability. Stainless steel water filters are very popular in homes and offices because of their versatility, ease of use and reduction of plastic waste. More durable and more aesthetically appealing than plastic. It is a more hygienic option than plastic, less prone to bacteria or mould growth and has greater resistance to corrosion.

Coldstream FTO PLUS water filter elements, NSF-certified

The Coldstream FTO PLUS water filter element is NSF-certified (NSF/ANSI 42) and tested by an independent laboratory in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53 and P231. The Coldstream FTO PLUS filter elements have been proven to reduce/remove more than 200 contaminants, including fluoride, chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, bacteria, pharmaceuticals, lead, nitrate and heavy metals, while beneficial minerals and electrolytes remain in the water.

This product is supplied with:

Using it for the first time:

The Pure Filters water filter is easy to install, without tools or electricity. For example, you will find the manual for the Pure Filters Voyager water filter there. Below is also a short step-by-step guide:

1. Take the product out of the box and set the filter elements aside for now.

2. Clean the containers, the lid and the tap with a mild liquid detergent. DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER! Dry with a soft cloth.

3. Attach the tap to the lower container and attach the knob to the lid.

4. Take the filter elements out of the packaging. If necessary, remove the wing nut and the ring from the filter stem. While holding the plastic base of the filter element in one hand, hold it under running cold tap water, rinse it and scrub it lightly for 2 minutes with a scouring sponge. MAKE SURE NO WATER GETS INTO THE STEM OF THE FILTER ELEMENT!

5. Push the stem (with the rubber ring on it) of the filter element through the hole in the upper container. Tighten the wing nut on the UNDERSIDE of the upper container. Do not overtighten. Do this with all the filter elements you want to use, or seal the remaining holes with a blanking plug.

6. Place the upper container on the lower container.

7. Fill the upper container with water and put the lid on. DO NOT USE HOT WATER!

8. Be sure to discard the first two cycles of filtered water.

9. You are now ready to use it and can enjoy your filtered water.
